So just updated my CCleaner last night and when I ran the registry cleaner it cleans out the registries for my Synaptics v13 multi-touch driver, rendering it useless. I figured that I had to manually exclude its keys from CCleaner (screenshot). I'm just wondering if I have done it correctly? The keys no longer show up in the registry cleaner and Synaptics is fine. Do these 3 exclusions exclude any other keys? I only want to exclude Synaptics' keys.

So, you mean CCleaner clean up the synaptic registries and causing the synaptic to malfunction?
If it is, put exclusion list of it. If it is not, just leave it. It is harmless. -

@.@?
You can always have your start-up if your files is there.
So, if you said that ccleaner destroyed the files which need for the start-up, you just need to exclude the files. Everything will be fine.
The other start-up programs will not be affected. -

I'm using the newest version of CC Cleaner too and I just checked where to find the Synaptics registries but couldn't find it, can you tell me where to locate it like in a screenshot or something? Thanks

My synaptics programme for my notebook is a touchpad pointing device software which comes pre-installed with my drivers cd. Does your CC Cleaner configures something in the registry that can malfuntion this programme or even the driver itself?

My CCleaner(latest) didn't give me any problems for the synaptic stuffs.
I don't know if it found the synaptic registries and deleted them. Everytime, I have 100% trust for CCleaner, I don't create backup and didn't check the list of errors too.
Most recent CCleaner cleans Synaptics
