Firefox with some security extensions. Opera is good too.

It's hard to judge what's inherently the most secure browser. AFAIK, there is no quantitative way of comparing how secure the browsers are. People are inclined to state a product is "most secure" based on anecdotal analysis. Basically, if you haven't had a problem with FF, you'll vote FF.

And I think you're going to have to be more specific. For instance, are extensions in FF allowed or not?

Anyways, just like any security measures, the user is most responsible for how "secure" something is. You can make it better by using safe internet habits.

I'm not trying to say this poll sucks, it's just that I don't see its purpose. There is no quantitative way to compare them and people are just going to vote based on what browser they use (FF, Opera, or Safari) and that info can already be found here.

By default the most secure would be Opera, but Firefox with NoScript is better (because it deactivates almost everything).

I am not sure how AdBlock Plus helps in terms of security. Maybe you can say it helps because it blocks all the adds. Anyway, I'm using it for the adds (+ hosts file).

Lynx. Make it the only browser on the kids'/relatives'/(other-people-who-want-free-support) machines and watch their ad-/spy-/malware problems disappear... :D

By blocking ads, a user no longer accidentally (or on purpose) will click on the ads that (often) consequently downloads some kind of ad-/spy-ware.
