    Hey I have a really quick question,

    I just bought a Microsoft Intelli Point 4.1 Mouse, I plug it in threw USB, do I have to use even the CD and install those drivers or whatever since my mouse alreayd works once i plugged it in. Thanks I appreciate it.

    Nope, some USB mice need drivers, but some don't. If it works fine with out you installing the software that was on the disc, then don't worry about it. If you have problems, then you might have to install the driver later on.

    Sometimes the drivers will add features to the mouse like personalized button configs.

    If the default config of the mouse works for you, then you don't need the drivers. If you're like me and get mice with insane numbers of buttons and you want them all to do specific functions, it -sigh- requires the driver.

    If it ain't broke then don't fix it. Don't worry about the software that came with it. Its just one less piece of garbage you will have on your computer.
