So how long has Firefox 3 been out?? I must be behind the times. >.<

Also, has anyone had any major issues or bugs with it so far?

^I agree. I'm using Opera now, but I'll probably give FF3 a test run when it finally does go platinum.

I installed a few of the earlier beta versions, but waited until RC2 to leave it installed. With RC2 I uninstalled V2 completely. I have been running V3 exclusively for awhile now. Just installed V3RC3. I suspect that this is actually the final. ;)

Never ever saw a single crash on V3 (or V2, for that matter).

I've either got RC1 or RC2 in Linux Mint, no crashes.
    RC2 in Windows, no crashes.
    I'd say its stable.

Why doesn't the Firefox just auto-update to RC3? It did for the previous two release candidates...I think.

It will. It's still isn't officially released yet. I found the news on FileForum (BetaNews) and decided to post it here. Apparently it is very similar to RC2 (supposedly BetaNews said it's pretty much the same thing), though I doubt it.

Well, I'm fairly certain it notified me there is an update available, though I could be wrong still. Have I really been running the Beta 5 all along :D ?

Yahoo worked fine for me with RC2, works fine now. I can't see any problems.

When I tried RC1 and logged into hotmail it wouldn't use the full version.. it would take awhile then load into the classic version. I'm wondering if its the same with RC3? or if they fixed that.

Thanks for the info. I'll wait for FF to auto update though. RC2 has been completely stable for me and I have no reason to manually update.

Why don't you use FF3 RC2 in the meantime??

FF3RC2 == FF3RC3 on Windows and Linux. Only a change on Mac version.

According to the internal documents the task for RC3 on Windows and Linux was to copy RC2 to the RC3 directories.
