    Hello. I am looking for an app to convert my ipod movies, phone clips etc into dvd format. Like something free if possible. Thanks.

    FAVC does a lot of formats, uses HCEnc to encode (great encoder) and is free.

    thanks for your suggestion olyteddy. works a treat. first attempt failed and it directed me to download avsynth ver. 2.5 which fixed the problem.
