    say i buy one retail copy of...lets say vista home premium...will i be able to install in on multiple, 3, computers wihtout having to buy more copies of vista?

    No, same licensing as XP...if not more restrictive. One copy = one computer.

    aww that sucks, so that means i have to spend like almost $1000 to install it on 3 computers? wow im starting to rly hate microsoft >.<

    btw thx for the quick answer, wow that was in like 3 minutes, fastest ive ever seen. lol

    They have some type of program from MS...buy one Ultimate, get up to 2 more Premium licenses for $50 each. You might be interested, and it would not cost you 1k!

    Just make sure you put Ultimate on your best computer, or at least the one you'll use the most. Aero Glass provides a super sweet experience that Home Preimum won't give you.

    Anyway...if you have a computer that you keep sensitive information on (like business files, etc.), install Ultimate on that to utilize their "encryption" software that Home Premium doesn't have.

    It was nice of Microsoft to make that discount. It'll help a lot of people.
