    Hi,

I've got a Dell Studio 15 with Windows 7 Professional installed. I have Lightroom 2 also, and want to take adavantage of LR's dual screen capability by plugging a 22inch HP monitor into my laptop via the HDMI out. What I want to know is, will my laptop support two colour profiles, one for my laptop screen and one for my HP monitor, as I want to calibrate them both using Spyder3Pro, in order to have their output displaying as closely as possible to one another.

I read somewhere that some PC laptops which support an external screen will only allow you to have one colour profile running at any one time, which means you can either have the accurate profile for the laptop screen on both, or the profile for the external screen on both, but not each their own profile at the same time! Is this correct, and is there any way around this if this is the case?

    Thanks guys ;)

The only thing I can think of, as far as 2 "color" profiles concern, is that you would need a dual-link type hardware. This means running 2 monitors on (quasi) 2 graphic cards.

Maybe Rivatuner can do it. I'm not sure at all, though.
