Does one exist? I have an i7 and I would like to know the current speed of each core (each thread?) and have it displayed when I play my games full screen.

Do you have 1 monitor or 2? If you have 2 monitors, you can use HWiNFO32 and have it opened on a second monitor. It shows you the speed/temps of each core.

I recommend using Throttlestop and making a log file. It's the most accurate program I know for observing the CPU.
I don't know of a program which lets you monitor the CPU while gaming... but it probably exists. -
can't believe i've never heard of that one before. I have only 1 monitor (laptop), but I've done some test with prime95 and intel turbo is very strange, I don't understand it at all it seems. I've put in only 1 thread, but it seemed like every core got a bit turboed, so I never got up to 2.8 Ghz
Throttlestop has greatly improved since last time I used it. i'll ge a look on it. ty
Set multiplier doesn't seems to work, but i've been able to understand a bit more how turbo works.
Multiple cpu frequency osd monitor
