Hi all,
Not sure where this thread really belongs, so I stuck it here. I just wanted to know if anybody here uses any good music creation software that allows you to plug your instruments into your desktop/notebook and compose that way.
If you can make any suggestions to me, that would be great. Either by PM (if they are long) or on this thread. I was looking to create music again, as I used to compose on a Tascam analogue multi-track. I want to start creating on a computer as it gives me the option to fiddle with effects a lot more.
I just want a program that is simple to use and understand, and doesn't have the world's worst instruction manual!
Thanks!

its called a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
example: Sony ACID, Ableton, Virtual DJ, etc etc. -
This does let me create real music, right? Not this clubby, techno-house stuff...

I use Fruity Loops, but i'm not sure if that's what you're asking. I'll ask my friend DJ V what he uses and post back....if i catch him on IM that is.

I've heard of that program. Any good for creating guitar-based music? I wasn't looking to create anything clubbish.
