I tried out Now Playing as a windows desktop gadget but it really slowed down my iTunes and it was a bit buggy.

Is there any software out there that can provide a nice minimal player that just displays the album on the desktop and has stop/forward/backward? And doesn't show on the taskbar?

Here's an example of what I was using, all that showed was album artwork until I hovered over it, then some menu options would show. The problem was that it really slowed down iTunes when I tried skipping/changing songs.
