Ya I bought the Mx7118 the first day it was out at Best Buy. But When i turned it on the first time there was a dash that kept blinking forever untill I had to turn the computer off and on with the button. I figured this was a problem in the bios so i took it back and exchanged it for a new one[the one im on now]. I love the computer and i got it for a really nice deal but the problem im having now is i believe with itunes and when my ipod nano is plugged in because ever since i installed it and when i play music on itunes the laptop starts freezing and i cant do nothing unless i wait 5 minutes but the song still plays well without a problem. So i figured maybe the song is just using up alot of power or something but i really have no clue why. If anyone has any ideas please helpp!:gateway:

Nvm i guess it wasnt a problem with itunes, i figured out it was the process mcshield.exe which was runnin 100% of the cpu usage. If anyone could explain that that would really help:gateway:

That is a McAfee virus shield process. If it does this constantly there is clearly something wrong...

Try getting rid of that cruddy McAffee antivirus and using a less resource hogging, free alternative such as AVG Free or Avast. Also, try doing a spyware scan with Ad-Aware or Spybot.
