I got the same BSOD when I plugged my external monitor into my Vostro running W7 via VGA...I am not to sure but it might have something to do with W7 treating the external monitor as a 'projector' rather than another monitor...have to do some more research...(I have submitted feedback to MS about this)

That's strange. On my MBP I have it hooked up to my external monitor through a VGA connection (with the overly priced DVI-VGA adapter) and never got the BSOD. Did it BSOD right away when you made the hookup to an already running machine? Or did you hook it up then start up your machine?

I get random BSODs [yes. with an 's'.] while using Firefox

Well, this is a beta OS after all. Just report to MS and hopefully it gets fixed in an update...

Might be driver issues, try a different set of drivers

I also get BSOD on my ASUS Eee PC 900HA with GMA950 graphics when I plug in an external monitor into my VGA port. Using latest Intel Windows 7 driver and a known-incompatible ASUS ACPI driver. If I restart with a monitor plugged in, it will BSOD immediately before the welcome screen and will reboot without showing the actual BSOD (and it will just keep looping until I remove the monitor).

I have not been able to find a fix as of yet, but I suspect the issue may be ACPI driver related.

Also, I get a BSOD when I customize the size of Inactive Title Bar (don't set it to 70 what ever you do).

Those are the only BSOD's I have experienced so far. Other than those, it's a very stable OS.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but it looks like the BSOD issues facing GMA950 users has been fixed in Build 7057.
