Did you install the SATA drivers when installing XP? Or did you turn off SATA mode for installing the OS, and then turn SATA mode back on?

I do not know... I simply popped in Windows Media Disk. Deleted the partition and reinstalled it. I ran the dig. test and it was ok.

I am thinking that it is hd problem...

When I go into BIOS. I can see everything...

Ah, I thought you had completely reinstalled XP from an XP disc. Nevermind my first post.

Do you have a XP disc? You can insert the disc, enter the repair console, and type the command fixmbr.

    Hello,

After I turn on the computer it's blank expect for "_" blinking.
However, I can run the LINUX through CD with SOUND. UGH...
Through Linux (ubuntu) I can access my other partition. Should I just erase all the partition in the hard drive?
