Umm, having a little problem here Recently I noticed that the pitch of my sound seems to be slightly lower than it was before. It's kinda bugging me but I have no idea what could be wrong. I don't remember changing any settings either.

Anyone can help me out? I'm using Windows XP Professional.

Try removing your sound drivers, use CCleaner to clean the crap and registry, look for newer ones online, if there is a new version out, install them, if not, then re-install the ones you have, and report back.

I think it might be a hardware problem. I just booted up in OS X and it sounds lower too, but when using headphones it sounds alright to me.

Are you sure it's lower than what it was before, or you just think it is?

It's definitely lower than before. Whether or not it's a problem with my computer, or a problem with my ears, I'm not too sure yet. When using earphones, it sounds okay though. =/

Well, try re-installing the drivers, and see if it helps.

And all of a sudden it sounds okay when I haven't touched anything yet. Gah. I'm going nuts.

It happens. When a stunner from the opposite gender comes close, you lose your senses, only to regain them after some time.

EDIT - We can't even post the word "s*x" here! Genius!
