Has anybody been through the same situation? I jus uninstalled the software and when I reboot the machine windows vista crashed and had to go through Windows vista recovery process (Which by the way works great) and had to undo the unistallation.

Can anybody explain what might be happening?

Someelse that is happening to me is that everytime I startup windows and go to the Event viewer I see that some services fail to start:

    - iaStor
    - CTS
    - CBCS

The iastor has something to do with Intel drivers, the others two a Cyber Link Task scheduler. These are causing a delay in my startup time... any advice or work arounds? Pls Post!!!

Hmmm, I don't know about those services but you didn't have Acronis OS Selector installed did you? That comes with Disk Director but doesn't install automatically.

Oh, as for the services try re-installing their associated programs/drivers.

At least you got that far. The Acronis OS boot program messed up my master boot record, and I had to bust out the Vista recovery disc. There's something like a "key" that Vista needs, but Acronis is ignoring. It sounds like you got further than that, but it could still be a problem in the MBR....hopefully Acronis figures out Vista soon.

Yes, they've been absolutely terrible at. The OS Selector barely works with it, if at all.
