This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    NHC 2.0 finally out of beta?

    Hello all,

    Most of you have probably heard of Notebook Hardware Control (NHC). The latest version from www.pbus-167.com (the official site) has been 2.0 pre-release 6 for a LONG time.

    Today I came across this link. Is this really the 2.0 final version of NHC? The "latest update" date is 17 Feb 2009... EDIT -- this link is also for pre-release 6. No idea where they got the "last update" part.

    EDIT -- Some further research on my part shows that no, NHC is not out of beta, but yes, there is a newer version than 2.0 pre-release 6. It is beta 2.0.7.3 and you can get it here.
