Great find! Are you using it right now? What do you think of it so far? Release notes look like he's done a lot of work to it, but I haven't tried it since 1.1 beta and was wondering if he had really managed to iron out all the glitches.

it has a new task bar icon, it is sopposed to support ACPI(but it says "it doesnt support this system yet"), more powerplay options, and he says that it wil finally support amd votage in version 2.0, it doesnt support it yet thou

Doesn't work for me, it comes up with what looks like a programming error:
ERROR!
Count must be positive and count must refer to a location within the string/array/collection
Parameter name: count
Does anyone know where I can still get a copy of the last version? -

Got it, Thanks!
-
<--currently a rmclock user..but i may move back to NHC when it is officially released..since it is an all encompassing program
-
will it support v6va's fan controls ?? i hope so!!
-
hmm i'm a bit wary about programs that control fans..aka speed fan issues with fan completely shutting down
-
I tried installing but when I tried to run the program I got an error:
ERROR!
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Any idea what that means? More importantly, who do I contact about a fix. I've uninstalled the old version completely, prior to installing. I also took the website's advice and uninstalled .Net 2.0 and reinstalled. I've also wiped all old settings. I can't fix the problem and can find no email address for contact. Help? -
Ok, after translating the NHC forum I came up with a temporary solution. If you delete the ACPI folder in the NHC directory the program starts. I don't care to control my fan, so that is unnecessary. Maybe it'll be fixed soon, but until then I hope people are helped by this fix.

Couple off issues, My battery estimate no longer works, It calculates a value when you remove the AC but it sticks with it, it might come up with 9 hours at 100% and stick with 9 hours even down to 1%. The Nvidia powermizer is the wrong way around I think the AC controls the battery settings and the Battery controls the AC settings.

nothing great with this prerelease version....

I've some issues too. The cpu temp scale is off the chart when you set the monitor to autostart. The max is 3200 degress ;-) so you can't hardly see anything. The value is correct though. Besides the "max performance" freezes my SZ2 and there are some other very minor issues. Still a great tool and works for me.
@pcharouz: What are you doing on your laptop??? A discharge rate of -30W is the worst thing I've seen in a long time. What up with the power consumption on your machine??? I get -18W if I force it, normally around -15W. Yours eats up the battery twice as fast. -
great find. i myself would rather wait for a full release
-
it might be worth saying that there is a pre relese 3, it has the 3000C log temp bug fixed, and a different battery tab
NHC 2.0 pre release
