Hey people. I have a question with NHC. Before I install NHC would my computer's setting be considered as maximum performance? Because I know that in NHC you can choose between dynamic switching or max performance. So which one should I pick?

It depends on your processor. Pentium M's will do what they call speed stepping...basically dynamic switching. It's the same thing you get with NHC, so you won't see much difference...though you will see the temp difference when it happens. Undervolting is a good way to use NHC to lower temps, especially during gaming/other high usage apps. Check out the NHC undervolting guide in the Hardware forum for more info.

High performance is telling your processor to run full speed all the time. This is the setting that Pentium 4's and some others use (I'm pretty sure). I would recommend dynamic switching on A/C and Max Battery or Battery Optimized on Battery power.

Just go for Dynamic switching if you are just surfing the web and typing etc. When you are going to play an intensive game, switch to Full Performance.
