I basically started using NHC to stop the harddrive noise I constantly get on my vostro. It works great, the only problem is that it never starts up with my system. I've looked at the program and I don't think there is an option to enable it on startup?

    any ideas how to?

Place a shortcut on the startup menu so it'll automatically load it.

Well, I'm going into msconfig and trying to place the shortcut into the start menu, but it doens't let me.

    Any other suggestions?

Click on the "Settings" tab --> "Enable Windows Autostart".

Moderator to the rescue ;) .. & make sure that NHC isnt underclocking your Processor... by default it is set to Dynamic Performance..

Thanks to all of you people that replied.

John B: For some strange reason I can't do that. I don't think it's active on my version of NHC for some strange reason.

you can. Settings>Show Advanced NHC settings> 'tick mark' Enable Windows Autostart (the 1st option)
