Recently while using NHC it forces my processor to run at power saver/max battery level. Does anyone know why this maybe, or had any experience with this problem? Im running Vista HP 32-bit, if that helps.

is your laptop running in power saver mode?(ie the little battery icon in the taskbar). Try changing that.

Yea I have, but when I try to change the mode via NHC it reports "error in changing processor speed".

I have the same issue
When I startup Windows, NHC takes whatever profile I have running and sets ti to a power saver automatically, whether I have it plugged in or not. I usually just exit the NHC program so windows can handle this untill I take the time to work on the NHC issue. The message that mauddib87 is reporting happens when you set the power setting to Max Performance or Dynamic Switching. When I go back to the windows Power control settings when NHC is running, I click on the max performance and then to power saver and back again to max performance to get the setting that I reall need when I am plugged in. Any insight will be appreciated. I am running this on a Gateway M-1625 laptop computer. Specs are in the signature. -
NHC doesnt work very well for Vista. Try using RMclock for CPU management
