Can I use NHC with my desktop?

    edit:
I want a program that can adjust my heatsink/fans speed so that it can be quieter. Is there such a program otu there? I installed NHC thinking that it would give me this option, but it doesn't.

Using NHC with Vista meant for XP will give you the dreade BSOD. Be forewarned.
