man ... I was using 192 drivers from laptop2go and they were awesum. But then, stupid homos at bluray decided to use WHQL for their HDCP BS. SO I had to go to original nvidia drivers. They dropped my peformance by about 97655% ... Thats not sooo bad, 9262 still has the extra power to handle it but what was annoying is that my temps went by 20C too. . Fans turn on full force and it getts really annoying. So boom I had to go back to non WHQL drivers. Got 193.36 ... couldn't install those. My whole system went corrupt. I had to repair the system with Vista cd. Then I finally got 192 drivers, installed those and boom. My pc restarts whenever I go into full screen mode watching a movie or playing a game. It just restarts. Reinstalled drivers like 50 million times more. Tried every driver out there, used driver sweeper too. Nothing works. Doesn't matter what driver I use, my PC restarts whenever I open a game or anything in full screen mode. Plz help, I m suicidal.
    thx in advance

haha I feel your pain. computers are supposed to make my life easier instead they frustrate the hell out of me just to do what I would consider simple tasks.

thx for help, I really appreciate this. Got it to work though. I uninstalled my gpus completely, then used driver sweeper then removed registry and it worked.

lesson learned (hopefully); don't use the latest releases from nvidia or ati AND MOST IMPORTANTLY don't use any driver sourced from other than the manufacturers original site.

backups are good too, especially image ones. my win 7 went 'boom' in the night while it was downloading at the weekend. many files currupted and couldnt even check disk :(
so, i just went 'unboom' and reloaded my image backup.
now i am not suicidal :D

You can't generalize this statement. In my Vaio FZ, I have to use the modded latest Nvidia driver, because Sony does't provide any driver update or a 64-bit driver for Windows 7. The latest driver runs perfectly fine.

Just FYI, you didn't get a lot of help because your initial post was mostly incoherent, and it was very hard to figure out what you were even asking.
