I've been looking for a decoder to play my DVD because I did clean install and I don't have any pre-installed softwares that makes able to play DVD.

I think NVidia PureVideo decoder is great.. for $29 value. I installed the trial version and it seems great.

But I was wondering if I will be able to install it on multiple laptops since I have 4 laptops at home. I noticed it has activation key.. so I was wondering if that's possible. Thank you!

hmm i think it depends what kind of license you buy , so if you buy a 4 user license u spouse you can install 4 different machines

or you could try alternate freewares like VLC Player or MPC HC

Vista has built in DVD playback software in Media Center. Appart from that VLC player will play them back as well and its free.

Qwakrz, only Vista Ultimate and Home Premium have the DVD playback feature - Home Basic and Business don't, as far as I know.
