    Hey guys, I have a acer aspire 5570 and the "Acer Empowering Technology Framework" keeps shutting down and the screen is dim and cant figure out what's wrong. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    what OS? I have the 5570 and don't use the Acer software (except for the orbicam) and the screen brightness can be controlled by the fn + right cursor key.
