    Hey guys, I have an old gateway pc, lost the disk to the oem verison of gateway windows xp repair disk. I still have the oem product key, is there a way that i can download windows xp home edition and use my oem product key. Shouldnt it detect the product key anyway cause its stored in the bios.

    p.s. its a geniune copy of windows and the product key is on the back of the computer.
