    Hi guys! I'm new here.
I got a problem with my notebook Hp dv6700. I can't start windows, when I was asked to log in , I typed the name and password but then the screen turns black except the mouse cursor. I tried to start in safe mode but still the same problem, I don't know if a recovery disc could help, I don't have it anyway.
All I have now is an external HDD and my friend's notebook.
Would you guys please tell me how to solve this problem, I really appreciated it!

If you cant get into safe mode then your windows may be on the fritz. This maybe a time to reinstall windows.

Sounded like you have either a BIOS lock or a hard drive lock. Time to send the comp back to the manufacturer.

    cheers ...

As it looks like you are trying to bypass security measures, I am going to close this thread as we don't allow this kind of talk.
