    Can someone recommend a really good security suite that doesn't slow down your Notebooks performance? I know that Norton and Mcaffee tend to slow down system performance, so those two are out of the question.

    I use Antivir, SpyBot & AdAware. All are free & even run great in my old P3 laptop.

    You will also need a Firewall to complete the security and ZoneAlarm is the best and there is a "free for personal use" version.
