Well, I was messing around and downloaded Ave's Vista Folder custom background app: http://mpj.tomaatnet.nl/vista/folderbg.html

But after looking at it it doesn't work so great, so I decided to get rid of it. I tried to delete the file it ran off of, but it tells me that VistaFolderBackground.dll is in use by another program and cannot be deleted. Unfortuantly, I pressed "skip" so it deleted the rest of the files there, and now the whole thing isn't working and it's screwed up all my windows explorer backgrounds and the Icons run together.

Can anyone tell me what to do here?

I know when I first "installed" it, it ran added a registry entry, but I have no idea how to remove that or what I need to do. Please help, I'm starting to panic here. :)

Did you follow the steps below?
    III. UNINSTALL

run uninstall.bat, restart (or log off and log on again) and remove the files.

Well the problem was I deleted the uninstall.bat file when I selected them all to delete, and it was the .dll file that was still in use and got left behind.

But I just fixed the problem by re-downloading the uninstall file, and I've gotten rid of it now.
