Hello Reader,
I used to undervolt the cpu of my t61p laptop with cpugenie. A program, I think, some of you are familiar with.
However a month ago my hdd crashed and I bought a new hdd on which I re-installed windows 7 and the cpugenie software. However it now does not accept my CPUgenie licence key anymore, so I will not be able to use the software when the trial is over!
I emailed greenvantage several messages about my issue, however they dont respond on anything.
So I have come back to this forum, and hope there is some one that can help me with this...

Over 100 views already, but no-one has a suggestion?

This is just so lame. I paid for this software... -
Well, this is really something we can't really do a thing about aside from directing you to contacting the developer which you already did.

Use the free Throttlestop software instead to do your undervolting. See http://forum.notebookreview.com/har...arket-upgrades/531329-throttlestop-guide.html . If you paid by CC, ask them to refund the software cost.

So thank you for your replies.
I tried to contact cpu genie many times again. However still no succes, it seems their product is no longer supported and I dont advise to buy it.
Instead I now use rmclock. It automatically undervolts the cpu, while throttlestop only allowed manually undervolting.
Please follow this link for instructions on rmclock:

It works like a charm on win7 64 bit, if you use the signed driver. -
Starlight5 Yes, I'm a cat. What else is there to say, really?
CPUGenie is great, I guess. However, I must notice that they should have provided an uninstaller for this.
Need help with Greenvantage's CPUgenie undervolt software
