So I accidentally deleted some movies I filmed with my digital camera. I downloaded an sd card recoverytol and restored the files but windows media player classic wont play the files. MPC normally did play the movie files before. Is there a fix to this? Btw I didnt save any other files over the deleted files if that makes sense, I deleted them and imediatly downloaded the restore software.

The only thing that I suggest is that you download VLC player:
    http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
It has a repair tool that it executes if it can't play the file and the necessary content is there to be recovered. I have only had to use it once, and not in a situation like this, but you might get lucky!
