    Hi,
    I'm looking for software that can play mp3 files and show 1/100 second, to help me pinpoint the time (down to 1/100 sec) that the words of the song are sung.

    Use Audacity. You can zoom in and mark times very precisely.

    Audacity is the best open source (free) app that can do this...very easy and newcomer friendly

    I third audacity - it is a great program, just make sure you get the LAME dll also to enable it to create mp3s
