I think I deleted some C drive temporary file and now when I go to control panel > system > restore system files and settings from a resotre point, I get this error:
"Windows cannot find '%windir%\system32\rstrui.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again."
I have Windows Vista and Im not sure what to do from here. Now I have some problems opening some programs that I was able to open previously. Should I reinstall my computer completely or is there another way to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

type cmd in the searchbox, wait until it shows in programs, above, then right click and run as administrator.
then type sfc /scannow and press return
it will check all your system files for errors and restore any missing ones
hope it helps -
If you have a Vista disc, boot with that and you can run system restore from the repair too.
If not, you may be able to get it by pressing F8 at bootup and choosing system repair from the menu (if it's there). -
Thank you but it still says this system could not find the enviornmental option that was entered. When i try to run as administrator?
Thanks in Advance
