I have an Asus 1005ha netbook with xp and I am thinking of installing Windows 7 with the student discount because the offer will expire soon. Should I install it?

What is the main difference between the 32 and 64 bit?
    Which should I install?

I will be upgrading to 2Gb of ram soon.

    Thanks!

There are no netbooks I know that have 64 bit. Get the 32 bit edition, cause its the only one that works there.

Intel's Atom processors are not x64 compatible, including the N270 in your Eee PC. http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=36331
