    CCleaner disables my Synaptics touch pad. Have to keep reloading it.

    You need to uncheck a certain Reg key when you do a Reg Issues scan.

    Much better than Window's Defragmenter.

    this is nice because its free, but imo jv16 powertools blows it away in every way.. i prefer o&o to their defrag program.

    CCleaner is an overall great program.. handles uninstalling, startup, registry, and cleaning up crap! So useful.

    That's why it's called Crap Cleaner. I haven't flushed the toilet bowl in years, neither have i wiped. ( Out of line too much?)

    He probably already has. Anyway, thanks to the OP about the new version coming out, not 2.0 but the update to 2.0.

    How is uninstalling software from CCleaner different from normal Add/Remove software ? any idea ?

    I don't know about CCleaners uninstall but Zsoft Uninstaller analyzes your system first.
