    don't use it
for me it deletes all my cookies even though its been told not to in the options and has done this from my vista days, worked fine with XP
been on the CC forums and no one has come up with a reason for it
    so it was deleted

You must be the only person that I know with that particular issue.

    yeah i must be lol
it worked fine in my XP days but then when i moved to vista 64bit
i untick the delete cookies but it still deletes them, yes i can go into the more advanced options and untick every single cookie one by one
but thats pain and shouldn't be needed if i have unticked it in the main setting

I don't think your problem is CCleaner. I have it on all my computers (XP, Vista, W7) and it doesn't delete any cookies unless I tell it to.

Finally 64-bit... Don't think it'll make a difference in such a small app, but it's nice to have more and more programs updated to x64

Except it does, things are faster with the 64-bit version.

That's only support that costs money, the program itself can be downloaded from right below that. :p Here.

Works fine here (W7 Pro x64). I like the new interface.

I just updated the one of my old laptop and it was the really old version of ccleaner when their logo was still half a pear lol

CCleaner works fine on Win 7 x64 for me. No problems in cleaning. I have it set so that it cleans once a day everyday. Takes care of clearing things out of my Downloads folder, uTorrent appdata folder, and Recycle bin.

CCEnhancer - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

    Anybody tried CCEnhancer 2.0

The Web Atom's CCleaner Enhancer adds support for more than 270 programs to CCleaner, the popular system and Registry-cleaning tool from Piriform. CCleaner Enhancer adds rules and definitions sourced from the Piriform Support Forum and other online resources to CCleaner's built-in WinApp2.ini system. When you run CCleaner again, the new programs are automatically included and ready to be selected for scanning.

We downloaded and ran the latest version of CCleaner prior to installing CCleaner Enhancer, to better gauge the additional effects. CCleaner Enhancer first asks to check for updates, which is usually wise. We ran CCleaner's cleaning tool again, and it turned up a few hundred kilobytes of persistent files that it had missed in the run prior to installing CCleaner Enhancer; it wasn't much in disk capacity, but it's a definite boost in the program's weed-whacking ability. Next we ran the Registry tool, and this time the enhancements were more obvious, with a couple dozen ActiveX/COM issues, missing shared DLLs, and a few more Registry artifacts the first pass had missed. In total, it fixed 53 additional Registry issues, not counting items deselected, most of which were inconsequential. We rebooted and ran each tool again, with no surprises, which is what we hoped to find; nothing was missed, and nothing unexpected happened.

CCleaner Enhancer is freeware, and it adds clearly visible functionality to software that already has some things going for it. It's just the beginning, of course; as creative developers add capabilities to CCleaner, tools like Cleaner Enhancer will make them available to you.
