Well I will be receiving my new Lenovo T500 in the mail any day now and I need to know a few things. First is, what antivirus/antispyware should I put on it. I have narrowed it down to Kaspersky vs. Norton. Which has better protection and is more lightweight? Other than that I already know most of my programs (Firefox, Open Office, Thunderbird, etc.). If you wanna give me advice on any other free programs I definitely need for my new computer it would be awesome. Oh and if you have any advice on what I should run side-by-side with my main antivirus program that would be great. I was planning on comodo firewall pro 3.0 and threatfire 4.5. Thanks for your help!

Try looking into the stickies of the Windows and Security Sections.

Many good recommendations are being made available there.

    cheers ...
