    the new cpu z still sees my t5670 as a t7100.
    intels too busy to make new penryn and nehalem chips, they aren't gonna bother making new ones on 65nm.
    the t5800 is probably just t7250 with some features disabled.

    The T5800 is a re-badged T5870. The T5870 is also recognized as a T7250.

    T5800 = T7250 - VT

    Mostly, the name of the CPU is screwed up but the Specification is accurate. The T5470 was also named as a L7500 in CPU-Z.

    They still havent added support for SuperLFM and IDA. The voltages are still wrong aswell.

    CPU-z dont really give support to notebooks.

    It's more accurate to say they lost the support for SLFM at around version 1.41. I have version 1.40.5 which gives credible results for frequency (CPU and FSB) and voltage for the P8600.

    :( The voltages was what I was going to ask about. 1.41 is my current version. By 1.43 voltages were broken.

    And yeah, I had noticed SLFM wasn't displaying correctly, either. Don't know if that ever did work correctly.

    Viva 1.41! But even more, viva the eventual worthy successor!

    CPU-Z identifies the T5800 as a T7250 because the CPUID Strings(06FDh) are identical.

    According to Intel, only the Ball and Boxed Versions of the T7250 support VT.

    See:
    http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLB6E
    and
    http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLAXH

    According to CPU World, the T5870 adds Dynamic Acceleration Technology, but not VT.
