The old beta version was Google Chrome 0.2.149.27 Beta released September 2. This is a slight update, updated September 7. I will post the Change Log when I find it.
If anyone wants to go ahead and try to find the changes in the new version, and post it in the thread, that would be helpful and appreciated!

EDIT: Just realized that if you have Googleupdater enabled that it updates automatically for you. To check, open up Chrome, go to options, and click About Google Chrome, and it will tell you what version you have. You can also manually update it from there, it just asks you to restart the browser when complete for changes to take effect. I have the .27 version because I have a clean install of the browser so it doesn't update automatically.
Perhaps since it kind of is an update, maybe more people will try it ;]

That link says there is a 0.2.151.0 version. But my About Chrome says its up to date at .29
    ;o

And yeah, I guess there just small fixes n changes since I cannot find a change log. Expect to only see a Change Log when it comes out of BETA or a pretty substantial new feature or something.

Apparently, the update quietly and quickly fixed some vulnerabilities - no word though on what these fixes were or what vulnerabilities they addressed...
    http://news.cnet.com/8301-1001_3-10035004-92.html

    Interestingly, Google says:

"Users do not get a notification when they are updated...When there are security fixes, it's crucial that we update our users as quickly as possible in order to keep them safe. Thus, it's important for us to not require user intervention," the company said in a statement."There are some security fixes that we'll keep quiet because we don't want to disclose security vulnerabilities to attackers." (from the above link)

Additionally, "The company was willing to discuss some other details about the update, though. For one thing, the company updated a JavaScript problem that could cause problems using Facebook. For another, it fixed a problem that would crash the entire browser if a person typed "about:%" into the address bar. Google called the problem "non-exploitable, but very annoying," reflecting the removal of the "security" label from the bug report."

Errr...well maybe I actually want to know what is being updated - including security fixes! But OTOH, recently, Opera did a similar thing where they did not disclose details of at least one security patch that they fixed.

I mean from a google's stand point, it makes sense to not disclose the fix security hole which may leads to other hole getting discovered by attackers. However, I would like to know what they fixed that are not "Security".
