I just bought an HP dv6t quad edition laptop. Whenver I try to watch youtube videos, it goes to something like full screen mode, but the screen is all black, and all I can do is hear the audio of the video. There is no picture at all, just a black screen the whole time. I have tried to like exit full screen and that doesnt work. I have Norton Antivirus running, AMD Radeon 7690 graphics, if any of those might be the problem. It is brand new I just started it and it has this problem. Maybe it needs a flash update or java? Does anyone know? Thanks.

Uninstall/Reinstall Adobe Flash. That should fix the issue, just wondering though what browser are you using and have you tried using another browser and seeing if it does it with that as well?

I am guessing you have windows 7? If so what version and are you using codec. It sounds like a driver is corrupted or improperly installed and if this continues you might want to reboot your computer to factory settings and try again and see if the problem doesn't reappear again?

It's possible that you could have disabled Flash Player in Chrome.

    To re-enable it:

Type “about :plugins” (without the quotation marks) into the address bar at the top of a Chrome browser window.

Click “Details” at the upper-right corner of the page.

Find the “Flash” (or “Shockwave Flash” ;) listing on the Plug-ins page and click the corresponding “Enable” button.

Close all Chrome windows and restart the browser.
