Okay I have x64 vista, but the laptop came with 32bit... should I switch? (I was thinkin bout getting 4gb ram) toshiba offers TONS of drivers for x64 vista.. so it should work? I used x64 xp for over a year and half with no real issues either.

If I get a fast flash card, can I just put it in the built in flash card slot and use ready boost? Is it really that great to justice buying a flash card?

Also Its a 3 n 1 reader or something, what card type would you guys recomend if i have the slot for it.

My old hdd was corrupted but i guess i should give x64 a try, yeah?

Vista memory management is so good that you don't even need to use ready boost. 4gb RAM for Vx64 is adequate. You will not see significant speed difference between the two. If you do have lots of x64 programs by all means switch. One of my imaging program isn't completely compatible with Vx64. And some USB TV receiver aren't 64bit compliant. Install, try it, enjoy.

I'm running 32-bit... but if I had an x64 disc lying around, I'd do it.

Don't disable ready boost service even if you never use it. I experienced a much slower startup after disabling ready boost service.
