Ahh... why? any specific reason for unchecking 'check for updates'?

It's snappier when the application doesn't have to check for updates. I can use the app. right away instead of maybe perhaps a lag when I run it, because of it sending requests to check if there is a newer version.

Ahh.. I was thinking about this, though I haven't specifically checked if there is lag or any.. :) Anyways. Thank you.

Honestly, you probably wouldn't notice a difference. It's just the fact of knowing it, is why I do it, haha. And logically, it makes sense. Your preference. :p

It also doesn't help that I like to always have my apps updated to the latest version, so I manually check for updates ALL THE TIME anyways. ;0
