    Hello,
and sorry for bothering you with this question.
I don't know if this is the right place to be asking this, but I'll do it anyway.

I tried to download drivers for this x700, but none of them would install properly. Are there drivers for the x700? And if so, would somebody be able to give me a direct link to them? That way I could find out if the drivers I tried were just the wrong ones, or is there something from with something else.

Thank you for your time, all help is appreciated. And sorry to be bothering you all.

    Try here: www.driverheaven.net

I got the new 5.9 Mobility drivers there and they're doing great on my Z70va.

why would you need to upgrade your drivers? Anyway, on ATI website it is stated that for the mobility series (notebook series), drivers are not provided and you will have to get them from the manufacturer, in this case, look into the acer drivers thread.

Look again. If you go to Windows XP and then look down through the list, there is a section for Notebooks with ATI cards. If you look there, the 5.9 CCC is available. I have it and it works great so far.
