what are the differences between these two? All i know is that upgrade cost a lot less Is upgrade like a one time digital download?

If you have Vista or XP installed, buy the upgrade. If you do not have windows, buy the full.
-
Upgrade requires a valid Vista or XP installation to install.
Full is well, the Full license. You can do whatever you want, including doing jumping jacks. -
You can also do a full install with the upgrade edition. You just have to change one setting in regedit and rearm the OS. Done clean install with an upgrade disk.
-
Yeah, good thing it isn't against the EULA. Oh wait, it IS.

Au Contraire

Would the upgrade work even though I have korean version of Win XP?
-
Should work fine. I have used the english upgrade on a machine with the Arabic XP once. but make sure you have your software and data all backed up and ready to go.
-
Is this worth the upgrade for my desktop in sig?
EDIT: For gaming purpose -
I'd stick to XP just for gaming. But it depends on the game.
Like CoH looks soooo much better in Vista/7 vs XP. -
im just playing Crysis right now and i can play it all high(since i cant play it on very high due to xp) and with 2x AA. In Crysis Wars, all high with 4x AA. Both at 1440x900. If i get windows 7, will my performance increase + better graphics?
-
I'll take a bet you won't see any performance improvement.
I don't have Crysis to test though. -
thnx for the reply, i guess i ll wait till i get my hands on those hd5000 series cards
