The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     No Brightness Slider

    I have a toughbook cf-51 and i recently upgraded to windows 7. Previously i had ubutnu and was able to change the brightness no problem. Now the brightness slider has gone. I've updated all my drivers, and double checked it with multiple softwares. I have no clue what the problem is.
