    Hello all,
I got a trojan virus a couple of days ago. I got the virus removed (as far as I can tell) and have run Ad-aware and a Registry Mechanic. I am running McAfee Corporate edition Anti-virus. Since I have had the viruses I have several things wrong with my computer that I need help fixing.

I no longer have the "Screen Saver" and "Desktop" tabs under the display properties.

I do not have the option to Hibernate or Stand-By. When I go into the Toshiba power options it does not give me the option to go into any mode except shutdown when I close the lid. When I go to "Turn off Computer" the options are there for Stand-by and Hibernate but they are grayed out and I cannot choose them. How can I get these option back.

It is a Toshiba Satellite A105.

    Please help.

Have you tried restoring Windows? I think Windows usually will make automatic restore points occasionally, so that may be worth a try. I'm using Vista at the moment, and I can't think off the top-of-my-head exactly how to get to Restore in XP, but it will be somewhere in control panel. If your using Vista just type "restore" into the start search and select system restore.
