Heyguys, I have an Asus Lamborghini VX2s with a "HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA" Optical drive.
It has the lightscribe logo on the drive itself and features "DVD±RW / DVD-RAM with LightScribe Technology." Nevertheless, I cannot get the lightscribe program to recognize the drive. If I want to do regular data burning, I can as you would with any other optical device, but the lightscribe portion seems nonexistent. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also, The functionality worked about 5 months ago, but I've refomatted since and now it doesn't work. I'm running Vista Ultimate 32-Bit. I updated to the latest lightsribe system software to no avail.

Looks like you need the Lightscribe Driver for your drive. Check out Asus' site, they should have a link to it.

Have you installed LightScribe System Software and enabled it in Services?

Tried both suggestions, but to no avail. Anyone else face this issue with lightscribe after they've reformatted?

Is LightScribeService Direct Disc Labeling Service set to "Started" in Services? Are you using LightScribe CD or DVD to burn the label?
"No Lightsribe Drives found," but I have Lightsribe
