    Hi

When u press alt+ctrl+del in Vista a window appears showing various options including 'Start Task Manager' ....when i initially used to click on it, it wud open task manager but little slow...
nowadays i cant access my task manager easily... it doesnt open for hrs ..everytime only the window appears showing options such as 'Change password' , "start task manager' etc etc. but task manager will rarely open until i reboot 1-2 times

...this problem is correlated with another serious problem....i cant open any pop-up window on my computer after few hrs of it being on ..... Its as if the right click doesnt work on my laptop...

Something is blocking opening of Task manager and pop-up windows (right clicking) on my vista 32-bit home basic.... (check signature for specs)

I ll be very thankful if someone can help me as i have been unable to identify the problem...

P.S: this Problem starts few hrs after laptop is running and only stops on reboot but problem resumes again after some time of using computer.

You might also want to run full spyware and anti-virus sweeps, since the system seems to be choking up after running for a while. I've got a desktop with somewhat similar specs (better hard drive and running An Athlon 64 XP 3400+), and I've never had a problem with Vista slowing down after several hours of use (in fact, I tend to leave it on for days at a time).

    try a virus/spyware scan.
