The long awaited Windows 8.1 Update 2 will only be rolled out via Windows Update but there will be no updated ISO with all the updates integrated as many have expected all over the web.

All useless to me personally but just wanted to share this with you guys.

That is suck, I wanted clean install. Where could I download the most recent official iso and how to integrate the patch?

Considering the H-E-double toothpick I went through to get my parents' desktop machine to update 1 (Windows Update would fail every time so I had to apply all the patches manually), I was hoping against hope for an .iso that I could run from a DVD.

A Windows 8.1 Update ISO exists, so just get that. This "August Update" is lining up to be a non-event. I don't think "minimizing Sharepoint prompts" warrants rolling a new ISO.
