I just installed windows 7 on my msi wind netbook u90 and after first boot up, there is no mouse pointer. Well, the pointer is still there, just invisible. Buttons still light up when the pointer lands upon them, but it's very inconvenient to guess the location of the pointer. I checked device manager and it says the device is working properly. I tried googling and no similar issue popped up. Any clue guys?

What an odd situation. I assume you've tried changing the mouse pointer icon.

Nope, I just installed windows 7 on the netbook, and the mouse pointer is invisible.

Okay, this is funny. I just did a cold reset. Unplugged the netbook from ac power and took out the batter. Now I get a semi transparent gray square instead of the mouse. The square glides around as I move around on the touchpad.

Problem solved after a second cold reset.

You should probably run some tests on the hardware if something similar happens again.
