-
There is no smooth scrolling in Chrome yet.
-
what do you mean by "smooth scrolling"? I've been using Chrome for quite some time and haven't had any issues yet.
-
Smooth scrolling is where the page will "animate" to the next spot on the page rather than jumping to it. See this: http://www.kryogenix.org/code/browser/smoothscroll/#top

Hmmmm, interesting. Never really paid that much attention. Usually I turn off all the bells and whistles anyhow just to get to what I need to as quickly as I can.
-
That is the main reason I don't use Chrome: it has no smooth scrolling.
Firefox FTW! -
Chrome has very fast scrolling but it is clunky. -
I have a Synaptics Touchpad.
I usually disable smooth scrolling, takes too much CPU time on my computer. -
-
Firefox scrolls WAY to slow for me.
Chrome scrolls faster and smoother for me than any other browser (despite the lack of smooth scrolling). -
It's probably your GPU or video drivers.

Edit: Disabled smooth scrolling in FF and it's much better. Still not as good as Chrome though. -
